Reservation for a 70th birthday dinner for 6 booked in advanced. At our time slot, table not ready. In 30mins, 2 walk-in groups somehow got priority and sat at tables right away while nothing for the reservation. Zero useful communication about our table ETA and no table results 30mins after the slot. My aunt was a regular who suggested this place, and our group is disappointed of the incredible lack of service and went to be patrons at another place.

An exceptionally flavorful dining experience set against an inviting and thoughtfully curated atmosphere. The kitchen demonstrates a clear respect for traditional Japanese cuisine, delivering dishes with authenticity, balance, and remarkable attention to detail. My sole criticism lies with the quality of beef used in a few of the premium offerings. Having spent many years in the food industry and developed a strong familiarity with various cuts and grades of beef, I found that the ribeye roll and Wagyu roll did not reflect the quality suggested by their descriptions. The texture, marbling, and overall flavor profile were more reminiscent of standard supermarket beef than the premium cuts being advertised. That observation aside, the restaurant truly shines when it leans into its traditional preparations. Having sampled cuisines across numerous countries and culinary traditions, I can confidently say that this establishment understands the essence of Japanese cooking. The flavors are honest, the execution is precise, and the result is a dining experience that feels both authentic and memorable.

A Precious and Quaint restaurant tucked away in a lovely shopping center! Delicious and authentically Japanese, the food is a rare find with simple and fresh options. High quality delights come with a higher price point, and my lunch Chirashi was slightly pricier than an average lunch meal. The sashimi was rich with soft marbeling of fats to melt in your mouth, coating the palette with delicate umami flavors, blending well with the subtle hints of shoyu & wasabi. The hot ocha served was of restaurant quality, seeped perfectly to bring out the green tea flavor without overpowering the remnants of the Chirashi still holding on. The shiso leaf garnish, also deliciously complimented the Chirashi. The ambiance was definitely traditional and superb with amazing customer service. When walking in, we were immediately greeted by a lovely Japanese lady, who saw our large group of 6 and instantaneously pulled together 2 tables for us. She brought us menus and gave us some time to look over them, while bringing out our drinks. The food was brought out quickly and esthetically pleasing, as Japanese dishes are expected to be. I came here with my mom for her birthday and we really enjoyed the food! The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and the service was wonderful! We will definitely be back 😊

Excellent neighborhood sushi restaurant in an average sized strip mall. The food was excellent and the seafood was so fresh. I highly recommend going off their daily recommendations board for their fresh seafood. Plenty of parking Food/Drink- 5 stars Ordered a variety of nigiri, but my favorites were their bellies, the golden eye snapper, and the sea bass. Also ordered the fried oysters and yellowtail collar which were fresh and full of flavor (pretty large yellowtail collar as well). The Aomori squid was really flavorful as well. Everything washed down well with their Orion beer on draft! Service- 5 stars Food was out quickly and servers were great. Great experience all around Bottom Line Excellent neighborhood sushi restaurant that has all the classics. Will definitely be back
